We are indeed fortunate to have Laura White, Professional Dance and Headshot Photographer come to our area to share her expertise and knowledge. Laura grew up in near Atlanta, Georgia. She trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and worked with well know performing companies in the Atlanta area. She also worked with Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Entertainment Department, Roanoke Ballet Theater and the Mill Mountain Theater Conservatory which provided her additional professional experiences which she has incorporated into her amazing professional dance photography portfolio. Her studio is in Roanoke, Virginia.

Our location will be Foundation Studios and we will be hosted by Jess Wakefield. She shares the studio space with Kim Kiely. It is a beautiful space and will enhance our learning opportunities.

Laura is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) recognized by the Professional Photographers of America. Her commitment to her clients is to capture moments that create beautiful memories and to enhance their presence in the performing arts community. Important Information: Class will be limited to 25 participants due to studio space. We will have a wait list. Please note that this will be a action class where you will be photographing. By participating you agree that you will share a couple of images that you capture of each dancer. They are volunteering their time and this is a way we can recognized their efforts. They realized that most of us are not dance photographers. They just would like to see what we capture. Perfection is not required. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.
