CHRIS FRITCHIE

Chris Fritchie is an artist at heart, passionately dedicated to creating timeless works of art. Based in McKinney, TX, Chris co-owns Magic Makers Studio with his wife, Lori Fritchie, and has gained international acclaim for the award-winning Magic of Santa® Experience. His heart, however, lies in fine art portraiture, where his creativity and vision truly shine.

Chris is a Certified Professional Photographer, Master Photographer, Artist, and Craftsman with the Professional Photographers of America. His artistry has earned him numerous accolades, including top awards from the Dallas Professional Photographers Association. In 2023 and 2024, Chris was recognized with TPPA Best Portrait of a Child for his fine art children’s portraits, as well as earning top image honors in the new TPPA AI Fusion category in 2024. In 2024, Chris was also honored as MPI International Portrait Photographer of the Year, a crowning achievement in his career.

For the past six years, Chris has been a Grand Imaging Award (GIA) Nominee and an International Photographic Competition (IPC) Finalist, consistently demonstrating his commitment to excellence. With a career spanning over 150 magazine covers, Chris’s journey began in editorial photography and evolved into inspiring fine art.

Chris and Lori are nationally recognized for their Magic Makers Academy, where they have taught their Magic of Santa® program to photographers all over the world, inspiring others to create unforgettable holiday experiences. As esteemed educators, they have shaped the next generation of photographers through platforms like ShutterFest, Texas School, and Imaging USA.
